I'm a Star

Because my brain hurts today after yesterday's running around.

Note to self: Don't go to 3 different colleges before graduating again. It's just too much trouble!

So, I find it very interesting that the Tarot Card I received is the Star. It gives me some sort of satisfaction at the present moment as I try to gather all of my application materials together for Grad School to study... well, stars to some extent. I'm amazed and impressed by how many schools in California actually have some sort of Astrophysics Program. May not be exactly what I was looking for (which would be Berkeley and Santa Cruz's program... wait, Cruz's? Does that work?), but at least I can get my Masters or Ph.D with an emphasis in Astrophysics. Sure beats trying to find some sort of other speciality I would want to study. Not that High Energy Particle Physics doesn't SOUND appealing, but it's not where my main interest lies or has lay over the past 10 years, you know?

Wow, I am so excited and giddy. Going back to my old schools (CSUH/CSUEB and Chabot/Hesperian High) really got me stoked again. I forgot how much I liked learning! Just the whole college experience is something that I can't wait to go back to. Especially since now it means Research. RESEARCH! That's what I want to do, and I will be doing it in less than a year! WOOOOOOOOOOO! It kind of makes me feel purposeful again. Not that I feel like I somehow don't have a purpose, but I feel like my life is going somewhere... and it's somewhere good! It's what I have been waiting for for so long! And now I am so close it's ridiculous!

Ok, must contain myself. Breathe.

You are The Star

Hope, expectation, Bright promises.

The Star is one of the great cards of faith, dreams realised

The Star is a card that looks to the future. It does not predict any immediate or powerful change, but it does predict hope and healing. This card suggests clarity of vision, spiritual insight. And, most importantly, that unexpected help will be coming, with water to quench your thirst, with a guiding light to the future. They might say you're a dreamer, but you're not the only one.
